Do the imps wear their hats again for Christmas?

No update for a new Valve game for almost a year. Steam Controller discontinued overnight. Now buy a Valve index. Will be great for sure. I expect so little and Holy Father: I shall have it!

    Remember Keefacts?

    Remember Keefacts?

Just some old posts from Keefan u/JakNovak

    Keefact #1

Did you know that Keefe the Bold is one of only 6 heroes to enter play with armor? Moving this big boy off the board is no small task!

    Keefact #2

Did you know that Keefe is the only hero whose card allows you to PERMANENTLY grant another hero both attack AND armor? Lean on Keefe when you're not strong, and he'll be your friend!

    Keefact #3

Did you know that Keefe has the highest stat total of any basic hero card? Keefe strongest one there is! (Haha little Hulk reference for ya)

    Keefact #4

Did you know that Keefe's full name is Keefe Treekiller? This is a bit misleading, as his large health pool pairs very well with Treant Protector's armor buff! Remember to never judge a book by its cover, keefriends.

    Keefact #5

Did you know that Keefe is being voiced by Fred Tatasciore, voice of Saren Arterius, Damon Baird, and Zeratul, as well as the more familiar Sven, Treant Protector, and Ursa? Keefe's got you in his sights! (Freddy also did Soldier 76, haha)

    Keefact #6

Did you know that, despite Ogre Magi's claim to be the smartest ogre living, Keefe's line "Fighting is like crushing someone's skull with a tree trunk." actually makes Keefe the only ogre to have canonically used an analogy when speaking? Perhaps Aggron could learn a thing or two from our hero...

    Keefact #7

Did you know that Keefe's tusks are actually much shorter than those of the ogre bruiser that can be seen in Dota 2? They are closer to Ogre Magi's or Alchemist's in length. As most animals tusks continue to grow as they get older, this could indicate that Keefe is very young relative to the ogres of the Dota 2 camp. It could also just be Valve's way of distinguishing heroic ogres from lowly jungle creeps. Food for thought!

    Keefact #8

Did you know that the only other unbuffed hero that Keefe will not at least trade with in a fight is Axe? If ever there were a reason to nerf Axe...

    Keefact #9

Did you know that in just 3 more hours, you'll be able to build a deck with Keefe in it? I hope you're all as excited as me!

    Keefact #10

Did you know that while Constructed decks will restrict to just one copy of Keefe, draft has no such restriction? In fact, they just GIVE you 3 Keefes! That's 3 Keefes for the price of one casual phantom draft (free)!

    So fucking pissed

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 08:54 PM PST

I was out. It never even entered the back of my head. Then the anniversary happened and for shits and giggles I played a few games and now I'm completely hooked and buying up singles for all the meme decks I want to try out. Now I'm sad all over again. This is bullshit.

Why did artifact get so much hate on release?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 07:46 AM PST

    Hey there.

I am wondering why did the Artifact get so much hate for how you have to pay real money for cards, while it is perfectly normal and nobody complains about it in magic the gathering?

Personally I would have not played this game if people were allowed to receive cards for free because of endless value inflation. Artifact is a TCG...

If you like competetive and complex online games i think you might like Tekken.

    Posted: 01 Dec 2019 01:01 AM PST

Why i am writing this here? Because i used to be a card game player aswell. First played competetively Hearthstone, after HS became trash, I converted to Gwent, after Gwent became trash, I tried Artifact and it was a complete failure aswell.

Then i just tried Tekken. Amazing game - 500hours in and im grinding it. People are saying that this is propably the best fighting game out there nowadays and I agree. Pro scene is going very strong (average 10k-15k concurrent viewers on twitch), and this game is ridicoulsly difficult to play. Not just mashing buttons, you need to know your frame data, combos, punishment, sidestepping to play this game on a high level.

Also, dont be discouraged if you haven't ever played any fighting games.

video of gameplay if u are interested, also very crazy final tournament game
