Posted: 05 Dec 2019 10:59 AM PST https://youtu.be/j_tcOU7iAR8?t=4856 Swim goes on to say: "I'm just thinking back to the artifact beta where they changed literally nothing. It's so crazy. Early days on the artifact beta I was really excited. Then a few months went by and they changed nothing. Then I was like 'Are they actually going to change nothing?' Then launch day was coming up and I was like 'Are they actually going to release the game without changing anything?' And then they did. That was really bad and dumb. I don't know how that happened, that's an industry mystery." [link] [comments] | ||

Is underlords worth developing for Valve in a monetary point of view? Posted: 04 Dec 2019 10:43 PM PST The game is still only in beta but had been haemorrhaging players monthly. I stopped playing once they introduced the underlords. Is it still profitable for Valve to continue wasting resources on Dota Underlords, or would it be better for them to use that resource on a more profitable game (Artifact)? Edit: From market transactions alone (15% tax), an alive Artifact community will make Valve tens of thousands a month. And that's excluding sales from new expansion card packs. [link] [comments] |
