I went to settings window to adjust some stuff and saw the Credits button, so I was like - okay, lets see who are the responsible ones... HOLY SHIT so MANY people!! if they all played the game, it would be still alive and well...

What do you think Artifact 2.0 will look like?

    Posted: 04 Oct 2019 09:10 AM PDT

Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster here. I was looking forward to playing Artifact when it was first released but upon hearing that you have to pay for card packs I realized this wasn't the game for me. I know games like Hearthstone have that system but I really thought that Valve was gonna copy Dota's free-to-play model and only charge for cosmetics.

I've been playing Underlords since and I've gotten to thinking... What if the new Artifact is a mix of the usual card game format but with all the 3D model animations and effects of Underlords, and then all the cards out of the gate will be available to play (like how all Dota 2's heroes come unlocked), it'll be just a matter of building your deck for your own goals? That to me would be the dream game to be honest. It will have the mechanics of usual card games but instead of just plain old cards bumping into each other, immersive, dazzling 3D models with attack or defense animations or whatever?? And then it won't be pay to win, it's just gonna be about understanding the meta and building your deck and playing out your strategy according to your understanding of the meta...

Really hope this'll what will happen guys. I know this isn't probably the first time someone talked about this possibility, I'm just really excited for this game and its unlimited potential. It could really revolutionize card games if done properly
