The 40th Weekly Stupid Questions Thread

Ready the questions! Feel free to ask anything (no matter how seemingly moronic).

When the first hit strikes wtih desolator, the hit stirkes as if the - armor debuff had already been placed?

There's no desolator in this game yet.

Just a bit of sour grapes.

Played a Phantom Draft after 8 months. I miss this game.

I don't play Artifact since February. I don't know why I still kept it installed and yesterday I decided to try a bit of drafting...

This game is great. I have been playing a lot of underlords these few weeks (about 10-15 hours a week?) and it's so different. Every round is so thrilling! It is so much fun to draft a complete deck.

I really hope they don't give up on Artifact and give us a more fair pricing and more content. Peace.

    Looking to pick up Artifact

    Posted: 03 Sep 2019 03:55 PM PDT

Sup guys, person who doesn't own the game here.

I have a feeling Valve at some point will invest in this game, and if they do I'd like to be in a position to purchase and play the game.

I think the cards are criminally cheap right now, so my question is: which cards should I buy on the market? It looks like I can get an incredible collection just from spending a few dollars.

    Balancing Cards #2 Rolling Storm

    Posted: 03 Sep 2019 01:17 PM PDT

Probably one of the worst cards in blue decks. Low pick rate and low winrate. And the card is not even common.

    Balancing Cards #2 Rolling Storm

    Blue Spell Card

    Mana cost 3

Deal 2 damage to all towers in all lanes

    Balancing Card

    Option #1

    Uncommon

    Mana Cost 3

Deals +1 damage to a random ally or enemy tower then repeat 5. Each repeat increase +1 damage.

    Option #2

    Uncommon

    Mana Cost

Deals +1 damage to a ally or enemy tower then repeat 5. Each repeat increase +1 damage.

    This card has *Zigzag effect.

*Zigzag: Zigzag cards can't be choose in which lane or objective be used. Instead zigzag cards proceed to start their effect from the left lane proceed to the middle lane and finally the the right lane. A zigzag card can't bounce two times in the same objective until complete the cycle.

Zigzag effect is a concept I thought thinking how could be implemented Wrath of Nature into Artifact. Considering that the game itself is designed around playing from the left to the right lane I think, Zigzag cards can play their effect around this concept.

Option #1 or #2 may not balance the card itself, but not any balancing I think is complety oriented to make the card playable as meta, but at least as a funny, meme or surprise card. Right now I think Rolling Storm has no space to funny decks, meme decks or surprise decks.

As always I do this to kill time while waiting the long haul. Don't take these posts complety serious.

Lets discuss as a comunnity ways to improve the game and enjoy ours coincidence and difference.
