Balancing Cards # 1 Arm The Rebellion Posted: 02 Sep 2019 05:12 PM PDT While waiting the Long Haul, I want to discuss with the community about Balancing Cards. Some of them needs a nerf, others a buff and maybe others needs a complety rework. I'm starting this series, considering only the mode that I play, Phantom Draft. We can have different opinions based on Constructed Decks. Balancing Cards #1 Arm The Rebellion Green Spell card Mana Cost 4 Modify allied creeps with +2 Attack and +1 Armor. There are many problems with this card. Modifing +2 Attack on allied creeps means that you can insta shoot down opposite creeps in 1 turn and even, if in next turn there spawn new opposite creeps on the lane were Arm The Rebellion was used you can also take that another round of opposite creeps and your creeps will still surviving because your allied creeps have +1 Armor. Enemy needs at least 4 round of creeps to shoot down Arm The Rebellion's Creeps. Considering that Arm The Rebellion cost 4 mana, means you can put a green hero to spawn at the second round to ensure in wich lane you want to use Arm The Rebellion which can complety desbalance the lane on your favour letting your enemy the fate to choose for that lane, between complety abandon the lane in round 2 or spending a lot of resources to just kill those buffed creeps. A solution a consider is nerfing the card. Option #1 Arm The Rebellion Green Spell card Mana Cost 5 Modify allied creeps with +2 Attack and +1 Armor. Option #2 Arm The Rebellion Green Spell card Mana Cost 4 Modify allied creeps with +1 Attack and +1 Health Point I do prefer option #2 because modifing allied creeps with +1 Attack means you are not going to insta shoot opposite creep on the lane and at the same time you can still using Arm The Rebellion as a early spell card. Thus can they remove the entrance ticket for ranked play? So that people like me who kinda miss Artifact can come back and play a game or two occasionally. [link] [comments] |
