Playing a lot of draft over the past few months, I've come to feel that arrows are the single most INFURIATING piece of artifact RNG. And it wrecks draft a lot more than constructed.

I think they're fine to keep but I feel they should only roll when a card is played, but not on every damn round.

Why - because there little counterplay or strategy against them... again it affects draft a lot more than constructed where you have your eclipses, annhilations zerker calls etc.

All the other major RNG pieces, you can try to adapt to or at least play with. The shop RNG we've learned to stack via cheap items, the lane creeps you can adjust deployments. Draw rng is w/e, it's a core part of card games. Flop positions, again you can take calculated calls with deployments. Hell deployments are 50 per cent of the skill in drafts.

But the arrows, oh God. When you play draft vs fucking try hards drafting double lycan, tinker, bristle and sorla and are still somehow taking it to the final round for the win, and then you get wrecked because his one hero in lane curved to kill your debbie with a dominator, and all three of yours get blocked by one creep. And the genius drafting red with 5 red cards has the one enough magic in hand. I thought my head would explode.

Draft games are largely about deck quality but the long scrappy ones which are the most fun to play, losing them to a mechanic you have the LEAST control over... well its draining to say the least.

I don't mind curves when you play a card, because again there room for play and counter play, but please remove the full randomization each turn.
