Posted: 25 Sep 2019 08:32 AM PDT If you are anything like me, you miss playing this game and want to pick it back up but the state of it depresses you. You do not want to use the matchmaking queue because it either takes too long, depending on the mode, or you get matched up for a one-sided match. I admire everything the boys behind the DCL are doing! I think it is a great cause and I recommend joining to everyone! But sometimes, you just wanna play a casual match or two without a tournament structure. Or perhaps you get ladder anxiety. I feel like a lot of us would enjoy playing the game using the game's own official Open Play Feature which was described in Valve's first post-release Blog-Post. All you need to do it join a Steam Group, such as the official Artifact or the r/Artifact Group Start up the game, go to Social Play, Open Play. Now you can give your session a description and select the group you want to open it up to. In the lobby, you can specify the rules of the match. Pauper? Random 2-Color Decks? The choice is yours! The more people do this, the more effective this method will be. You can also use the Subreddit Discord to coordinate or the Steam Chat, since it is directly integrated with the game. Or make new Steam Groups for people to join. Make friends. Play Artifact (and other things) together <3 [link] [comments] | ||
