Posted: 21 Jan 2020 07:42 AM PST I've been tinkering with black decks and I've been loving the synergy of heroes like necro, tinker and lich being paired with ristul emblem and keen folk plate. 2 and 3 damage signature cards can do up to 5 damage before the starting phase. I've also thrown in PA and bounty hunter with iron gold mines to get better chances at early gold since the items are pretty cheap. [link] [comments] | ||

I think there are two ideas that could be good at least for testing: 1- Leveling Up your hero The idea comes right up from Legends of Runeterra, if they can copy the imps using poros, I don't see why not we can't have inspiration in the same way. But there's a reason why this is important: Many times when you aren't playing and you feel the desire to play again, comes by imagining late-game scenarios, with your hero evolved but even though this is the case, all games begin in a early stage and all that do begin with heroes already powered up, aren't as popular. That's because there's a joy in unlocking thing in-game in seeing yourself unlock the full potential of said hero instead of being handed to you in the full-potential. The mechanic of Legends of Runeterra is interesting for one more factor: It adds mini-games and make each game different. Having different missions to level up your character make you think outside the norm if you were playing in another way with another hero. This makes the game less stale. When I'm bored of playing a hero in Dota. I can change the hero and the game will feel a lot different. The same can be said in Artifact but only so to a degree, much of the time only when they are different colors and some unique characters as Kanna. But Keefe, Legion Commander, Axe and others all give the feel that you're playing the same game in the end, this could as well change a lot with heroes having different missions to level up (In which could unlock a new passive or give a card of a different ability idk) 2- Cards with different "Size" in the table For this one I'll be considering they already removed the RNG for hitting a card, with it always hitting straitgh forward.
