You guys wanna know whats sad? Posted: 24 Jan 2020 02:32 AM PST Pokemon TCG online, a platform that is not even properly made to be competitive, have a faster queue time than artifact and a whole active trading hub that works pretty fine [link] [comments]
Business model of Runterra compared to Artifact Posted: 24 Jan 2020 01:15 AM PST After one evening of gameplay (4 hours and 30 minutes) and around 10€ spent I have completed my first Tier 1 deck. For double the amount on Artifact you get ... the starter pack... Just sayin' [link] [comments]
After LoR, no more excuses for the first set of Artifact cards Posted: 24 Jan 2020 12:11 PM PST I don't know if the core game of Runeterra is better than Artifact, or even if it is good yet. But after playing a few hours with the preview last night, one thing is abundantly clear: Riot has made a far more interesting and diverse first set of cards than Valve did with Artifact. You will not find any heroes who are defined by abilities as vanilla as "give allied neighbors +2 regeneration", nor any heroes with pure diceroll garbage like "25% chance to duplicate a spell". Most importantly, you will find very, very few cards that are strictly stat modifiers. I still want Artifact to succeed, and believe there is a lot of potential in the core ruleset of the game. But can we please stop trying to defend this miserable, boring, utter trash set of cards as "just the first set so it's okay"? And let's hope the VNN guy is right in that the set is mostly scrapped for 2.0. [link] [comments]
Welp, guess we won't be needing Artifact 2 anymore ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ Posted: 24 Jan 2020 07:03 AM PST LoR is a more well thought version of Artifact. It took what Artifact did well and dropped the points where it failed, same structure but better and Zero disappointments on release. Guess the long haul is over. Not even meming, this game will do to Artifact what it said it would do to Hearthstone. [link] [comments] |
