I feel like the "Reroll" mechanic really bad and dangerous for Artifact 2.0. Posted: 07 May 2020 07:59 AM PDT I play a lot of time "more than 100 hours" in HS battlegrounds and Underlords. And always feels really really bad when I spend all gold on rerolls and get nothing out of there, I even stop playing this games after games when you just lose to bad rerolls RNG. This mechanic has the same problem that arrows have in Artifact 1.0 now. People just will shit this game everywhere because they lose game after unlucky rerolls. I think valve need at least try some other variants of how "Shop" in artifact should work without rng. Or at least this RNG should be controllable in some way. Also after each unlucky reroll player will start to feel that he lose more and more because he spends 2gold and get nothing, then spend another 2 gold and again get nothing, he starts tilting and of course losing... he will feel yourself scammed. It works in games where you by core mechanic try to control RNG, like Underlords or HS BG. But not sure that's was a good idea for a reboot Artifact. [link] [comments] | ||
