- If Valve hadn't killed off Artifact, then would people be flocking to the game right now, given recent ongoing events?

Posted: 28 Jul 2021 08:18 PM PDT With many people in the Blizzard communities incensed due to the recent accusations of Blizzard higher-ups sexually harassing their employees, and players wanting to play other games, would Artifact have had a chance of winning over some disenfranchised Hearthstone players, had Valve not ended all development of the game, and either released the 2.0 update, or released an improved 1.0? Both versions would also be made free-to-play, with only cosmetic microtransactions, like other Valve games. Heck, you could have Gabe Newell, or even bring back Richard Garfield, to produce a statement video, damming Blizzard for their staff's horrible acts to their people, and provide assurance that Valve is a caring environment, with no sexual harassment going on, and say that women are also accepted into their games, just like men are. Although I don't know if Valve has had any accusations of sexual harassment of employees in the past. So would that have worked in Artifact's favor, or no? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Jul 2021 08:40 PM PDT Hi guys. Unbelievable news and very exciting for fans and haters. Everything in the title is true. I only need to name drop one person and you will believe me. Tyler McVicker. He hasn't said anything about this but I've watched him so I can make crazy claims that come true too. Miss you Artificers. PTSD of monkey dancing continues [link] [comments]
