Why can't Valve unlock all the cards for players; especially versus bots? Posted: 01 Jul 2021 05:19 PM PDT Draft is my favorite way to play the game, along with 2-color random (would be my definite favorite if I could have 3-4color random). However, knowing that the cards I can draft - especially against AI - are restricted to only cards I own, completely kills my desire to keep playing the game. I enjoy the game, I really do. But if Valve is going to declare the game "dead" - they should at least let us enjoy ALL of the game; instead of requiring grind. I know I can buy cards via Artifact Classic on the marketplace (I think?); but for a dead game... =( I know companies are greed, but. . . I just want to play the game, for fun. edit: For what it's worth - I've been playing Artifact Foundry. It's been a great experience, generally preferable to Classic [the last time I tried Classic, anyways - redownloading it now to see how it is]. [link] [comments] |
What is Artifact Foundry's "Chaos Event"? Posted: 01 Jul 2021 06:08 PM PDT I just saw that it's possible to change cardbacks; however the only other option is locked until you "Complete all achievements in the Chaos Event". Is that still possible at all, to do? Perhaps it's completed by doing the 10 tutorials? I guess I'll have to knock them out, and see - though I doubt that's the case. =( [link] [comments] |
So where does Valve go from here? Posted: 02 Jul 2021 03:00 AM PDT Both Classic and Foundry are dead, and Ricochet is not the Valve's biggest failure anymore. Millions were scammed off Axecoin. But what Valve is going to do, just write off those millions paid to Garfunkel and spent on developing and marketing the game? Or there are bigger plans, like developing a new card game perhaps?
