    Can you please limit shop RNG?

    Some people hated arrows. Some people hated buying cards and tickets. Others hated board wipes and lock...

    Well I hated shop RNG. I was frustrated when I had a better built deck but they got a perfect secret shop vesture or a demagicking maul right when they needed while I got a short sword for the last 3 rounds. I sighed every time my opponent got 4 town portal scrolls in draft and I never saw a single one. At least if I knew my secret shop and consumable shop was the same as my opponent I wasn't getting shafted even if there was RNG. Yet, that wasn't the case.

    For me, the shop RNG felt just as bad as arrows and it disappoints me to see RNG retained in the new shop. I don't care if the new system is better than 1.0. This game already failed once, better isn't enough. I don't want to compare things to a failed game. I want it to be great by its own standards.

    And so I have some suggestions:

    1.) Let us choose all the items. You can force us to have 21 items and a set number at each tier but I can't stand the thought of getting weaker random items that I have to waste gold on or a turn on to get to the items MY DECK needs. Balance can only do so much. You can't tell me every other 10 gold item is going to be just as valuable to my specific deck as phase boots might be. I don't want +3 damage or a root effect. I want my phase boots that I built my deck to synergize with. I'm not at risk of RNG when I choose my items in Dota.

    2.) At least let 1 of the 3 shop windows to be a guaranteed card from our deck. Maybe this is abusable with the new tier system but I think that's much easier to balance around.

    3.) At the very very least make the 11 random items the same for each player.

    TLDR I hated RNG in 1.0's shop and I don't want to see it come back in any form. You can disagree and argue about how it's better than 1.0 or balanced but at the end of the day, shop RNG FEELS BAD to me just how arrows felt bad to others. I don't want 2.0 to be better than 1.0. That's not hard. I want it to be great and this is one of the biggest things that held 1.0 back imo.

    Draft mode idea

    Do you think it would be insteresting to have a game mode similar to captains mode in dota with banning and picking phases? Didn't really thought it trough, but could work that after you picked your heroes you would chose one of your constructed decks or somtehing. Another idea would be banning and drafting items after seeing enemy deck. Idk, those are maybe stupid, but I would really love some kind of back anf forth more interactive drafting/deck building where you really go face to face with your opponent even before the match rather than the standard draft. In competitive dota drafting is a very important part and I always found it fascinating to watch the best trying to get to each others head and it would be cool to try to replicate that feeling in artifact.

    Can we also add the item deck of your opponent in the mix? Maybe just 1 or 2 random items of each tier.

    Would make deck building more fun when you wouldn't need to add must have meta items in your deck if your opponent already has those items.

    The new Axe signature card is pretty situational.

    It needs two conditions at the same time otherwise the card does nothing.

    Valse says month ago that want to avoid that signature cards be situational. Hope they somehow fix Axe sig.
