    Why the 4th Spirit Update should give you more hope for Artifact than you think

    the void spirit might actually be related to artifact.

    even though there are a lot of sarcastic post right now, i believe we should take a deeper look at the information we have right now.

    first of all it is correct that the circles that were used in the artifact's comics seem to be represented in the new trailer.

    Compare:

    The color cheme is also matching: Reference.

    also if you compare the trailer picture again with the first artifact logo from the first artifact trailer, it seems that the 4th spirit always had some bigger connection to artifact. Compare: Trailer VS Logo.

    even back then people speculated about the 4th spirit - just because of that logo.

    but thats all just some graphical stuff. now lets go into what the 4th spirit actually talks about.

    the void spirit talks about "the mortal plane view" and keeps on talking about how he is basically all knowing. he even knows whats happening in the future.

    what other thing is giving their users insight into history, tells them secrets like assassinations that are supposed to happen and alters the future at the same time? it is the artifact (the "compass", not the game) shown in the comics.

    now if you take a step back and look at the 2 hero release as a whole.

    • we get another keen hero (snapfire). keens are very present in artifact's current lore
    • the update is supposed to hit in fall of 2019
      • fall ends december 22th this year in the US, that seems to be just in time for artifact's 1 year anniversity. in my humble opinion artifact's 1 year anniversity was always the best guess for artifact news.

    so even if we have nothing concrete here, i believe the release of the void spirit might ring the bell for a new artifact chapter.

    Wanna try another game which has 3 targets to destroy?

    I just thought I'd put this here because it doesn't seem there will be Artifact 2 anytime soon, so might as well play other games, like World of Myths on Steam. It's a f2p card game with quite interesting and different mechanics than other games like it and the goal is to destroy three things.

    It's in early access now and I'm by no mean affiliated with it but happened to find it on steam and the mechanics are just great. Monetization isn't though and art etc. is quite crappy, but I'm hoping it might get better.

    Right now the game just has less players than Artifact and could use someone to play against, I mean they just released a draft mode but there is no one in the queue to try it, just think that some people in here might enjoy the mechanics of that game.
