    Looking for the game credits

Can anyone provide screenshots of the game's credits? I don't own the game, but I am curious to know who worked on it as well as who provided voices for the cards.

    Modes for progression

    Posted: 08 Nov 2019 12:42 PM PST

    Hi,

Played at launch and started up again this week based on Underlords having me interested in Dota again.

My question is out of all the modes what is the best way to earn xp for progression if generally I lose almost all games? I know bots dont give XP so it must be against real players.

    Thanks.

Is Valve even capable of making a good game again?

    Posted: 08 Nov 2019 09:03 AM PST

So, after so many years without releasing a game and tons of talents leaving the studio, Valve is trying to make a comeback and is failling HARD.

The last good game they made was Dota 2, more than 6 years ago, and it was just a port from WC3 engine to Source. With Dota 2 they tried some ideas (events, single player, tutorial, etc) in the end everything failed, not even the monetization system where people would design sets and sell them is really working anymore, as the only worthwhile cosmetics are coming from Valve (Arcanas and Immortals). This game had more than 1m concurrent players, and somehow the lack of update (events, new modes, single player, etc) kinda made it diminish over time to half of its peak.

Then they tried to make a Card Game, they were so out of touch with the community and how the monetization of game work that it was the fastest decline ive ever seem, going from 70k+ concurrent to less then 1k in a couple of months. Basicaly the game became a symbol on how not design game or monetization in the industry.

This year they tried to get into the autobattler fad, Valve trying to port another game instead of coming up with their own ideas. And altought Underlords seems to be stable at 25k, and not doing bad by any means, its not the blowout sucess and lost the race to other companies. Even tought they seem to still trying to finish the game and hope its sucessful, it does not seem like a likely scenario when you take into acount how games like Dota 2 feel abandoned.

So, heres my question, is Valve still capable of making new games? Or they are just capable of porting already made games (CS/Dota) and putting then on life support?
