That you need a hero on the board that's not stunned or silenced to play your cards. The reason people dislike arrows, the flop and all that randomness is that the outcome makes you or your opponent not able to play their cards. The same goes for annihilation and all other removal. I think this is the only issue with the game and all other complaints are just mechanics enforcing this issue. 2.0 needs to fix this and make you able to play your cards even when a hero is not on the board, or it needs to be a lot harder to kill heroes.
