More wild speculation about a possible Artifact reference in a recent Dota 2 update.

Someone found strings included in a recent Dota 2 update that looks like little missions to introduce new players to the game. The first mission is called "PA Murderfest", with a line saying "PA approaches the temple...". Sounds kind of like Murder Plot, which shows PA killing someone in a temple-ish setting. Combine that with Erik liking a tweet with the word "February" in it, and I can say with 1% certainty that we're getting Artifact 2.0 news this month.

Do you think a 3v3 or even a 5v5 version would be playable?

Thinking a player play on there own lane with own deck. Or control 1 hero with your own deck.

I acctually think it's slightly possible with tweaks. The main problem with 3v3 problem would probably be how hero placement works. Unless you increase amount of hero cards a player choose, like everyone have 2-3 each on there own lane. However, do we want dublicates of heroes (Think 3 Drows)? And not just that, but what happens if your hero change lane? Your opponent must than controll it. Obviously, you play with someone you know, still.

5v5 would be interesting to and maby more plausable. Main problem here would instead be, how does mana work? Like do we have our own mana pool or do we share it? And another big problem would also be how turns work.

And then we have disconnection problem obviously.

What do you think? It's obviously more competetive and working when you play 1v1 core rules. But 2v2 like Yu-Gi-Oh have been a very fun experience for me personal.
