Just found proof that the devs are listening

    Posted: 20 Feb 2020 07:33 PM PST

Shortly after Artifact launched with its barebones client and people were posting daily "What should be added to Artifact?" threads, I suggested that they should allow you to customize your username with titles that you earn by completing achievments, like a lot of MMOs do. For example, earn the title "The Demolisher" by doing over 100 tower/ancient damage in a single combat phase, or "Leader of the Pack" if you summoned over 50 Hounds of War in a single turn. So in game, I could choose to have my name displayed as "lkasdf9087, The Demolisher", a small customization that allows you to personlize your profile, plus show off a bit. Well, the devs listened and added that feature...to Underlords.

Wanted posters are now customizable as well – players can earn Achievements to unlock more titles.

    Keep on hauling

This reddit is in an abusive relationship with valve.

I've been in a few abusive relationships myself and don't get me wrong I'm waiting for updates on artifact too. Really love the game and wanna play whatever is coming. But look for any tiny little tip or news in hope that is a new update is just like been in a relationship and accept any tiny little affection as a big gesture just so you can't face the truth that the person don't give a shit about you.

I might get downvoted to hell because os this post but I don't think the longhaul should be this toxic. Go do something else, valve don't give a shit to the longhaulers, they just want their IP to succeed and this will happen if when they update people come back, so it doesn't matter the 3 people that are already playing.

Best explanation for why the game failed?

    Posted: 20 Feb 2020 01:39 PM PST

Where can I learn about why the game failed? This is a serious post. I haven't followed Artifact since the beta and I'm interested in knowing how Valve failed to see the issues during development and beta testing. Is there an article that summarizes the mistakes made by Valve? For instance, how much of it is bad gameplay vs. bad business model?
