Posted: 04 Jul 2020 08:59 PM PDT I got too much sun, drank a few too many beverages and was puking my guts out all night from 3am to 7am. I finally must up the strength to check my steam account and behold beta 2.0 was sitting in my library. I went back to bed after that. But ya the ScubaKlown caught the wave [link] [comments]
Posted: 04 Jul 2020 02:24 AM PDT I have seen a few people comment that Artifact 2.0 lacks "player interaction" or that players simply take turns "altering the board state". I am not sure I understand this point, personally, because I feel like I am interacting with the other player with ever turn. But I wanted to ask anyways. What does "player interaction" mean to you and do you believe that 2.0 is lacking in that department? Is it just the ability to exploit or counter keywords and triggers on the other player's side of the board? [link] [comments]
Who is the most overpowered and underpowered heroes in artifact 2.0 in your experience so far? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 08:24 AM PDT I have been playing for a little bit but I don't feel like I have a good grasp of what the meta is, I've mainly been playing drafts so that affects my experience a little bit. What do people think are the best Heroes and the worst heroes. Also which colors, items, and cards are the best and worst. Any and all meta discussion would be interesting. [link] [comments]
Anti- Kanna/Prellex/Drow strats Posted: 04 Jul 2020 01:24 PM PDT This brain dead combo can win a lane on turn two and kill an ancient easily. The funny part is against many teams just Kanna/Drow can nearly win a lane in the early game without even playing a card. Ways to negate this team are to kill Kanna and/or Drow, and have a good number of options to kill the hounds pre-combat while you do it. Killing them before combat is key since they all have trample for some ungodly reason. And you have to do this in conjunction with killing Kanna or else they all just come back the next round. Ogre Magi and timeline is one obvious "counter" along with other blue spells. Timbersaw ability and sig card, a few other red spells, and the item that does one piercing to all adjacent. Of course, most all of this is assuming no barracks. Would love to brainstorm other ideas. [link] [comments]
Explanation for creep substitution? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 07:33 AM PDT Can anyone please explain how to "absorb" a creep to add to your stats? I've seen it done by the AI to boost a hero with stronks, when I tried to deploy on top of a creep myself it didn't work. [link] [comments]
What are your thoughts on match length? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 04:45 AM PDT I was excited to play the beta this weekend having got my invite on Friday; I played half a dozen campaign missions before trying the draft mode: The match I played lasted half an hour. Neither of us were playing late game decks. What are people's thoughts on this? Personally I think 10-15 mins is the sweet spot for a card game. [link] [comments]

Why Artifact 1.0 is still in the shop? Posted: 04 Jul 2020 08:28 AM PDT What is the point of keeping a useless game in the store? Artifact 2.0 would be probably free, and even if it will not there is no reason to buy the older version. What is the point of keeping that garbage in the store? would be more useful a client-based beta sign up. [link] [comments] |
