| Posted: 04 Aug 2020 07:58 AM PDT TLDR: I fucking love it. -Simultaneously playing all 3 lanes with one mana pool has made the game more dynamic. And really makes hero mobility highly valued. -Cards I thought we're way over powered in the original were nerfed (Zeus ult, agh sanctum, among other abilities), making these cards more balanced. -Live draft is an absolute gem that I love more than the constructed deck mode. It's like a fun arena. Sometimes you get a whack af deck that was generated, but most of the time is well made and leads to some very close games. -The shops being remade is excellent and makes your gold income per turn very important. -Games feel more balanced and when you win/lose it's actually because you deserved it. The removal of the hard RNG of creeps and attack lanes make every turn able to be planned. There also seems to be less landslide victories which I think we can all appreciate. Overall; very excited to play the final product and I'm very happy valve is fighting the good fight here alongside the community. [link] [comments]  | ||

| What if Blue heroes having 2 abilities is the norm? Posted: 03 Aug 2020 11:29 PM PDT It happened with Pierpont and Vanessa, then with Imperia and Venomancer. Why not go full throttle and give almost every Blue hero a 2nd ability? This can be the best way to buff Blue while staying true to their playstyle of casting a lot while simultaneously giving the color a unique identity. It doesn't have to be 100% but maybe close to ~70% would do. (It's 41% as of right now with 7 of the 17 Blue heroes having 2 abilities) We have yet to see a hero with 2 active components either.
