    Artifact Linux Gamers

I play Artifact under Linux. Who else? Maybe we can start our own Steam Group?

EDIT: I've made a Steam Group for us:

    More to come on weekend.

Just had a game against a high-level account (38) with a random number username that played 0 cards

What's up with that? Pretty sure this is like the second time or so I've had a game where the other guy didn't play *anything* :| Oh, and they usually spend most of the first turn almost completely idle and run the clock down < 1 mins.

    New layer with played cards?

    Posted: 04 Apr 2019 07:33 AM PDT

Just played a match and noticed that now there is a layer on the top right corner of the screen showing the cards that the opponent has played.

It is extremely annoying. After your opponent has played like 10 cards then the list is just on top of the last card he has played, and you cannot see it. Is it possible to hide that list? I find it the worst design ever for a card game, not being able to see easily which card has been played.

I am going to buy Artifact in a couple of hours. Convince me otherwise.

    Posted: 04 Apr 2019 03:04 AM PDT

I've been lurking in this sub for quite a while now because my best friend plays the game a lot and he actually enjoys it. However, he adviced me against buying it until Valve release a new big update and/or it becomes F2P.

Meanwhile, I grew really curious about the game and I truly, deeply, believe in Valve's ability to save it.

Therefore, I say f*ck it. I'm off to buy it. I just wanted to make a post first, to see if there is anyone who can convince me not to. Seeing how this sub hates the game, it shouldn't be hard to find someone to give it a go!

** EDIT ** Thank you guys for all the replies. You helped me decide! I bought the game after all and I have to say I really enjoy playing it. It is a fun game with great depth. Peace.
