Root Boots are on armor slot. Phase boots are on accessory slot. You can have two pairs of boots.

    New Card Collection?

    Posted: 15 May 2020 06:09 PM PDT

Is there a website that has compiled all the newly revealed cards and reworks of 2.0? Even if it's not final, it's nice to gather up everything in the last few weeks.

Or just add a sticky post gathering up all the moonday updates

    A Different Take On Mana

    Posted: 15 May 2020 08:52 AM PDT

Was discussing the new one mana pool system on discord with some people and someone brought up having the mana be on heroes instead. The new shared mana pool feels a bit weird and seems to take away a lot of the epicness of old artifact with a lot less mana to spend. What do you think of this?

In this example, lets say you have pa in the right lane and she spends all her mana on gank and equipping and using blink dagger. she no longer has mana in her new lane because she already spent it. The idea is that mana would be for that single hero so you couldn't have like 2 heroes in a lane and play a 10 mana card if it is mana turn 5 but you could spend 5 mana however you wanted on two heroes, so like two 5 mana cards. And of course, you would still be limited by hero color as well.

If you're still playing all lanes at once this seems like a more elegant solution then having one shared mana pool between lanes, since your enemy/you would still be able to take an action in lanes they have heroes after an action is taken, lessening the lockout that often happens in 1.0.

This feels more like dota to me and would make positioning and hero mana usage really important while adding impact to which heroes to target, especially if more heroes are like axe 2.0 or 1.0 tide with strong abilities on the hero vs in the cards compared to 1.0.

What do you guys think? Do you have a different idea? Or do you like the new shared mana pool?
