Chaos Gauntlet, Achievements, Events - Interesting things in Artifact 2.0 Beta Build

    Posted: 27 May 2020 04:47 PM PDT

Hello everyone, decided to give a try in digging .vpk files and found some interesting things.

PSA: Some of those things might be unused assets from Artifact 1.0 but as far as I see those were not present in original game files.

Seems like some kind of Arena-like mode. Have no idea what those badges and map mean. Cardback is named "Harmony in Chaos". Game files also list several achievements as a requirement to get it. As a bonus, I found one more thing before posting this.

Absolutely no idea what this is.

At first glance I did not found any description on requirements to obtain them, but I didn't scrape big .txt files I found. So, some hints might be found later. Seems cool!

As well as achievements, no instantly visible description for them, might find them later. Rainbow is my favorite by far.

Nothing to say here, there are a lot of arts and I intend to upload all of them this weekend.

All in all, there is a lot of information to get through game files and I'll try to find more interesting stuff.

I made a "beginners" video introduction to all the Red heroes in Artifact 2.0 - Let me know what you think!

    Posted: 27 May 2020 05:21 PM PDT

Edit: This is more of a personal speculations & initial impressions, than an introduction or guide. After some of the comments I changed the video title.

It can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KQuXk0b51fI

I would love any feedback on the way I present myself and whether or not you would actually watch content like this. I personally prefer visual and audio mediums compared to just reading those 4 threads someone recently posted with all of the heroes and how to use them, so I decided to make something I knew I would probably like to watch, however the obvious issue is that I suck being in front of a camera and am super insecure by the way I speak so I have a lot of speech issues (like the Um's and Uh's) but I'm willing to learn and improve and even if there's just 1 random stranger out there that likes stuff like this, I'll keep making it.

    Cheers! -Strider

question about 2.0 from a visually impaired player

    Posted: 27 May 2020 06:46 AM PDT

i had a stroke a few years ago and my vision is really bad. one thing that helped me quite a bit in 1.0 was the "x" pn a unit if they were goimg to take lethal damage in combat. i noticed that isn't in 2.0. is there an option you have to toggle? hopefully it's planned and just isn't there yet

I think Rix is the strongest hero in Artifact 2.0

    Posted: 27 May 2020 07:22 AM PDT

I always pick Rix when I see him in hero draft.

With new deployment rules you can easily get Rix killed every round by deploying him in front of enemy heroes. Hes free blocker and gets massive attack damage during the gaem.

You feed a lot of gold by suiciding him every round but gold is just a number.

Questions regarding vacuum and dark rift

    Posted: 27 May 2020 07:39 AM PDT

For vacuum, what will happen if there are units neighboring the target empty slot which both survive the damage? left pile resolved first?

For dark rift, what will happen if the number of heroes is greater than the number of empty slots in target lane? resolved from left?
