These updates have been cute and all Valve, but it's time you addressed something the community actually cares about

Will "I am a doggie" still be the official theme?

What a card game TRULY needs.

    Posted: 18 May 2020 04:58 PM PDT

I really love card games, and I especially liked artifact for it's unique and fun game design, but it lacked what a card game TRULY needs on PC.

CARD COSMETICS. We need holo cards in Artifact for the game to really pop off on re-release. BUT IM NOT JUST TALKIN NORMAL HOLOGRAPHIC CARDS. They should make the hero appear in 3D above the card for holos. I'd buy into, that's all I'm saying. What do you guys think?

The campaign will be playable in the beta

    Posted: 18 May 2020 04:42 PM PDT

Not sure if it's the complete campaign or just some sections of it but I think that's pretty exciting! More lore!

    Lost responses

    Posted: 18 May 2020 06:52 PM PDT

I wonder. Some cards will be removed so taht means that some card interaction responses /flavour texts wil lbe forever lost to time. That said, what are the best card responses/flavour texts you think artifact has ?

Moonday post states that beta keys will be sent out "by next week". Does that mean they'll start coming from now on or starting next week?

Sorry, it's a simple question but my english isn't perfect so I have to ask.

i hope they go dota route meaning making every hero broken (hero stats and sig card combine).

    Posted: 18 May 2020 02:09 AM PDT

if everything is strong then it will take longer to figure out meta and i hope they put in counters to strong hero in form of few niche heroes .

What is going to happen to unopened packs?

    Posted: 18 May 2020 02:27 PM PDT

I got the 10 packs on launch, decided not to open them until I play a bit, so I know what cards actually do and how the game works so I could understand what I am opening. Then Call to Arms came, and I loved it, but it didn't require your own card collection and I kept playing it, in the meantime unlocking more packs. Then the game died, and I never actually opened a single pack, so I have 20 now.

Was there any communication from Valve regarding unopened packs? I don't want to lose them when Artifact 2.0 comes, especially since I technically paid for the first 10.

Is this game going to be F2P?

    Posted: 18 May 2020 12:41 PM PDT

Personally I don't see it succeding if it will stay paid with the same price. This was one of the main complaints, right? What do you think Valve's decision will be?

    What's the objective?

    Posted: 18 May 2020 01:52 AM PDT

Everyone has a different opinion on what makes artifact special, and what it's fundamentals are. But what is valve's objective? What do they want artifact becoming?

The original game website mentions deep strategy, competitive gameplay, no limits to hand/ units/ Mana.

They have already gotten rid of the no limits despite 1.0 also being announced to go mobile. Do they want to shift focus towards casual play instead of competitive?

It's cool that they throw pros / cons, likes/dislikes at us in the moonday posts, but it's I think time we get an actual deep dive into their vision of what they want the game to be.

And inb4 it's obvious that they want it to be successful and make money.

True Long Haulers Should Get 2.0 Beta Access First

    Posted: 18 May 2020 06:48 PM PDT

I pre-ordered Artifact sight unseen even before the open beta.

And I have to play the lottery for a beta key with people who bought the game less than three months ago?

    Volvo please.

Corresponding lanes. How artifact view works

    Posted: 18 May 2020 04:20 AM PDT

For anyone interested here is the easiest way to understand the board. This is a reasoning based on group theory, specifically on molecular symmetry. Google those words if you want to know what I am talking about. Point symmetry is a tool used by chemists to identify symmetries within molecules and base their spectroscopic observations on that. The artifact board corresponds to the symmetry operation inversion center, denoted as i. Basically, fix the very center spot of the whole board as the i point. All lines that pass through the center and connect to a position correspond to each other.

Hope this clarified it a bit. See drawing for visual clarification: https://imgur.com/a/d9Ln0xa

"In the new version cards are unlocked through play"

    Posted: 18 May 2020 01:00 PM PDT

How do you feel about that?

I love artifact 1.0 game-play, it was for me the best card game I played with the worst system to play I've seen ( pay to play "competitive game" ... )

I was quite sure I would enjoy artifact 2.0 but it look like they brought a new stupid system you have to play with the bad cards first to unlock the good one ... Either you unlock card fast and it's useless or it take time and I won't waste my time grinding

What about they build and amazing game and just let us play it in good condition!
