    Beta 2.0: A Reminder

    Posted: 26 May 2020 01:55 PM PDT

Congrats to those who are enjoying Beta 2.0. While you should enjoy the game, please remember that this is a beta, and your feedback is paramount to the success and growth of Artifact 2.0. From yesterday's blog post:

"Our first two areas of focus are Usability and Bugs. Feedback on other topics is welcome, but fixing these types of issues will let us grow the beta more quickly. There is an in-game tool to report any issues, and you can use the feedback email for anything that requires a discussion."

Quality feedback is necessary to grow the game. So while you should absolutely have all the fun in existence, be sure to explore the game, and report any bugs that you encounter. Valve is open to communication so let's be sure to reciprocate.

    See you in game!

(not my hard work, but I saw the link on twitch and I couldn't figure out why no one was posting it to reddit, and I figured the community should see these asap)

edit: most of the new cards

Watching the 2.0 Streams on Twitch I realized how much I missed playing Artifact

    Posted: 26 May 2020 05:06 PM PDT

Despite some serious problems with the game I still really enjoyed Artifact 1.0. Watching some of the 2.0 beta streams has really whetted my appetite to start playing again. Hopefully they'll be inviting more players to the beta soon, it's hard to sit on the sidelines!

Is it safe to say Artifact 2.0 is the game we have been waiting for??

    Posted: 26 May 2020 07:20 PM PDT

I know it's too early (fk that), looking at the cards and gameplay on stream, it's every bit as strategically intensive and skill based as I'd hoped.. ofc the UX and minor balance will be improved, in this regard this I have faith in Valve and the community to provide feedback..

    I'm so happy right now!!🥺🥺

Watch me as I rise to immortal rank playing Greevil decks!!

As soon as I get beta access.. anytime now..

Want to play 2.0 but don't have access? Play on Tabletop Simulator!

    Posted: 26 May 2020 06:03 PM PDT

If you want a taste of the gameplay, I made a table with all the cards and everything you need to play a game. If you remember the 1.0 tts mod, this is basically a fork of that.

Thanks to /u/pixeis for supplying the card images!

Card art with the biggest Twitch emote potential?

PSA: Try restarting your steam client, you might find artifact beta in your library after restart.

    Posted: 26 May 2020 06:07 PM PDT

I woke up to a post of another wave of people getting in to the beta but i checked my library and it wasn't there, So out of sadness and desperation i tried restarting my steam client, and oh boy, im in boys!

VNN has a request to current beta testers..

I just noticed: Purple is the new black (just change it already, Valve).

So, any impressions from the lucky few beta invitees?

    Posted: 26 May 2020 02:20 AM PDT

It's been the better part of a day now and I'm curious why nobody who can play it has chimed in on what their experience so far has been. Feel free to sound off in this thread while the rest of us wait and cope.

Anyone who got Artifact from TI in the Beta yet?

    Posted: 26 May 2020 03:45 PM PDT

Let's have a discussion about the game from what you have played and watched

    Posted: 26 May 2020 02:58 AM PDT

The lack of Artifact 2.0 discussion is a bit disappointing. Let's fix that.

To everyone playing 2.0: please play constructed

    Posted: 26 May 2020 07:09 PM PDT

I don't know if the people who got in hate constructed or don't know constructed can be played, so, in case you didnt know, you can build decks with any cards you want and challenge ppl for constructed matches.

Please help the guy who dislikes hero draft (me) play some matches too. Play constructed!

    Combat resolution indicator

    Posted: 25 May 2020 10:34 PM PDT

Watching the streams, i think the game doesn't have indicator of the combat would be resolved LEFT->RIGHT or RIGHT->LEFT.

I'm thinking of using the flow of the water in the river for that. (in the middle of the board there is a division, i guess it's the river)

Has anyone put up an imgur dump of all the cards?

    Posted: 26 May 2020 06:33 AM PDT

See title. I don't really want to go watch through VODs to get them, that's helpful but tedious.
