    Artifact Beta 2.0 update for 6/3/20 (6/4/20 UTC)

    Via the Steam Community:

    • Added a temporary effect to visualize the in-game timer.
    • Decreased the turn timer from 150 -> 60 seconds.
    • Changed Bristleback's Quill Spray from combat damage to normal damage.
    • Reflected damage can no longer be re-reflected (Bristleback vs Spiked Carapace interaction).
    • Mjolnir jumps no longer target dying units.
    • The close button on the profile screen now returns to the main menu instead of prompting to quit.
    • Fixed a bug where the right-shop would reroll every time you bought an item from any slot.

    What if each lane always had two mana?

    Like, in addition to the regular mana, which increases every turn, you get two mana per turn that can be used in each lane. I guess to compensate you could start turn one with 1 or 2 "general" mana instead of 3, and still go up by one each turn, but that type of thing could be tweaked.

    This would go along with drawing two cards per turn again, as it would give you more space to play more cards. It would also make equipping items and using abilities less cumbersome, without having the problem of ridiculously escalating mana like in 1.0.

    On turn 10 (12 mana turn), for example, you would have 36 mana in 1.0, 12 mana in 2.0, and 18 mana in this hybrid system.

    Just a thought.

    PSA: You can make Artifact and Artifact 2.0 mods without replacing files frequently.
    1. Make your mod files into a .vpk bundle.
    2. Create a folder like "Artifact 2.0\game\dcg_mod\" (name the folder as you wish), and put the .vpk file here.
    3. Edit "Artifact 2.0\game\dcg\gameinfo.gi", Add a line in "SearchPaths". Copy the next line and change to "Game dcg_mod". (same name in 2) (IMPORTANT: KEEP UTF-8)
    4. Enjoy!

    To make .png into .vtex_c, there're many guides on it.

    To make Artifact 2.0 localization, just add some .txt in certain folders. I have made the ones in Chinese. BTW, I'm out of 2.0 beta by far.(IMPORTANT: KEEP UTF-8)
