I don't even want to be in the stupid Artifact 2.0 Beta Posted: 08 Jun 2020 12:43 PM PDT
I mean, it's extremely rough right now so who would actually want it. Not me, certainly.
Only stupid doo-doo heads would want in, and I am most certainly not a stupid doo-doo head so I clearly don't want in.
I most certainly don't want in the beta, so don't give me a key Valve. [link] [comments]

Second impression of artifact 2.0 Posted: 08 Jun 2020 11:51 AM PDT Overall I'm still not excited, but I think I've managed to get a better grip of what is really bothering me. Almost every game is over before I've played 20 cards. What's worse is that a vast majority of the cards that I play are for postering/controlling initiative (contrary to artifact 1.0 I usually want to play last). The primary cards played each turn (both by me and my opponent) are quite often complete blowouts for the lane equilibrium, which leaves me with the feeling that there is no build up. The individual lanes have no real identity, like a tanky hero (bristleback) vs going wide (veno/kanna). What happens instead is that the game just ends abruptly because someone is able to move their hero out of the way of the blocking units and slap on some buff/item and demolish 50% of the tower hp in one hit. It just feels cheap; no matter whether I'm winning or losing. It's not simply a matter of buffing tower hp since the scaling of the heroes are vastly different in 2.0, very affordable items will double or even tripple your heroes stats. There are other things I like/dislike, but none of it is anywhere as significant as this. [link] [comments]

What are you looking forward to the most in 2.0? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 06:16 AM PDT While I'm still waiting for my own access to the 2.0 beta, what are you looking forward to the most? I played a lot when 1.0 released and while I liked the mechanics of the old board, I must say that the new board is what brings me back. What about you guys? [link] [comments]

Posted: 08 Jun 2020 06:25 AM PDT Maybe i missed it, did devs discuss mulligan? And what do you think, shoud it be in 2.0? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Jun 2020 10:50 AM PDT Seems to be happening to a lot of people, but when I went to check on my beta invite. It would previously say you have already been entered but when I did it again yesterday it said thanks for signing up. Seems like you might need to do it again after each wave or something. Seems concerning [link] [comments] |
