Am I the only one who's dying for Artifact on mobile? Posted: 03 Feb 2019 03:24 PM PST I personally love Artifact, when if I don't play it as much as I used to at launch, but I'm not a fan of only being able to play on a computer. I can think of countless times where I would have given anything to whip out my phone to play some Artifact. I hope Valve doesn't divert resources from the mobile version, because I honestly can't wait for tha Edit: If you're coming to leave a comment composed of just "yes," you're very original and there definitely weren't 10 others who did the same thing [link] [comments]
Tip: How to play with/ try out unowned cards against bots! Posted: 03 Feb 2019 12:33 PM PST Sometimes it's useful to see how a deck works without buying cards first, or even just trying a fun combo. For whatever reason you will only be able to choose a deck with unowned cards for a bot match if you have the option ticked in the deck builder. So head over to the build deck tab in the collection screen. In the top right there's a box for letting you choose unowned cards while building a deck. Make sure it's ticked and you'll be able to play with unowned cards. It will untick itself so you might have to tick it each time you start the game up. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Feb 2019 05:03 AM PST Hi Redditors. I'm a content creator who moved from Gwent to Artifact when it was just released. Still loving the game and I believe it will get much better over time. I was working on my own Artifact website for the last month and even though it's russian, I decided to make an English version of this calculator for anyone who would find it helpful. I knew you could predict enemy items by the amount of gold spent, but I thought good players have to remember items cost and calculate it by themselves. Later on I saw some people trying to make their calculators, but they were not perfect and were missing some features, such as counting "Hold" button etc. I decided to make my own calculator and improve these aspects. Would like to say thanks for the idea to u/REDDITWASRIGHT who posted similar calculator earlier. So here I am presenting a tool to help you calculate possible items bought by your enemy. This calculator is available here: https://soulstices.com/artifact-enemy-items-calculator/ You have to type the amount of gold spent and items bought, after that the calculator will show you possible combinations. - It counts possible "Hold" button; - It counts the fact that items from the right section of the shop can be bought only once per combination; - Any item can be found in one combination up to 4x times (if 3 copies of them were bought from the deck and 1 from secret shop), even though this case is extremely rare; - Should work well on mobile phones; - Updated according to item changes with 28.01.2019 update; - Clicking on item name would show you a pop-up image of that item. There are some things I would like to improve later on: - Possibility to include items list from opponent's deck if you know them (tournaments). It would reduce the amount of possible combinations; - Possibility to add revealed item to current combinations and exclude the others (you can currently do it by finding revealed item name with Ctrl+F, but it's not the best solution). This tool can help you in some cases, but take in mind that if your opponent spent like 40 gold and bought a lot of items, the amount of possible combinations can be extremely high. In this case you will get warning message and it most likely won't help you as he could literally buy anything. [link] [comments]

Make Packs and Tickets Marketable + Enable Player to Player Trading + Make Collecting Exciting Posted: 03 Feb 2019 08:05 AM PST I know, I know, we have lots of requests for gameplay improvements which need to be done to make it more fun to play. Also, I know "dead game lul", make it F2P, give me all cards for free, or even pay me to play your game, or whatever else you want, I don't mind. But what about everything else which makes a card game exciting and collectible without having any gameplay advantage/disadvantage? I feel like Valve completely ignores (and underestimates) these elements and the impact on many users. Here are some thoughts based on years of experience with card games, AND other Valve games:
conditions: heavily played, slightly played, near mint, mint, etc. Both in card games like Magic, and other Valve games like CSGO , item conditions play a huge role in collectibility without influencing or having any advantage/disadvantage in the game. Final Note: The difference between companies like Activision/Blizzard or WotC/Hasbro and Valve is that there is less corporate bullshit in Ivory towers and Valve can plan much longer ahead and is much more free in what they can do, since they're not a publicly traded company and don't have to prove to shareholders short term maxed out profit and "don't you have mobile phones?" type of bullshit. So, short term loss in income for Valve and long term gains as player numbers grow steadily is the way to go for Valve imo. I think it was a huge mistake to not implement many of these options when the game launched, but it is not too late. Every online card game feels like a JAIL when it comes to these collecting features, your only source for interaction is the DEV and all the exciting things iRL and paper cards are forbidden. So, not only is everything digital now (I can't touch my cards, can't put them im sleeves, in albums) , and not only the cards don't even belong to me (see TOS, all items belong to Devs, even if you paid for them), but I can't even trade my digital items with others, possibly even gift the ones I don't need or whatever. Valve, change it and be a pioneer in online card games. You will thank yourself in few years. Last but not least, I heard that Gaben can possibly break the curse of the evil Beggar by accepting exactly 3 out of these 4 options. . . . [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Feb 2019 05:52 AM PST Do you use the ingame quick-sell feature for selling cards? Prices there seem to be a little lower than on steammarket, but its much more convinient if you are going to sell big numbers or cards at once. Whats your opinion and I'm secretly hoping that somebody did the math, and wants to share, its Artifact subreddit after all :) Enjoy your Artifact matches, fellow gamers :) [link] [comments]

How expensive is a full collection at the moment? Posted: 03 Feb 2019 11:26 AM PST Hey there everyone! I've been thinking about getting into Artifact for a while now, since it seems pretty interesting, despite the hate it's getting. I was wondering though, how expensive a full collection from the market place would be right now? I hate being shoehorned into a single deck until I get more cards in games like this. Thanks for your replies in advance! [link] [comments]
